Dr. Jennifer Hafdal

Over the last twelve years, I have observed significant changes in the diagnosis and treatment of neurodiversity. My experience includes providing assessments and diagnoses, direct treatment, school support, IEP guidance, parent training, and consulting, as well as training mental health professionals on recognizing signs and symptoms and implementing safety interventions for neurodiverse clients.

Currently, I work with a leading non-profit in Silicon Valley, where I teach clinical psychology doctoral students how to assess and diagnose neurodiversity in individuals from 18 months to adulthood. Unfortunately, such services can be hard to find outside of Silicon Valley. Let's explore how I can assist you and your family.

You might consider working with a clinical psychologist if:

  • Your child is newly diagnosed or showing concerning symptoms.

  • You’re struggling to manage behavior at home or school.

  • Family relationships are under strain due to the child’s needs.

  • You want help navigating therapy options and service systems.

  • You're looking for long-term emotional and practical support.
